A wonderful medley, bones from Coopers Rock — owl pellet? lightening strike?; glass bead from 1900s Australian Mallee homestead; and heart locket (the top of the heart “F&B” for Theo. W. Foster & Bro. Co., see Rainwater “American Jewelry Mfg” page 94. Began circa 1898 and was a general jewellery maker at 100 Richmond St, Providence, RI.)

Thank you Ellie Feldman (of Bead Company fame) & Grant of Victorian Gem Clubs ID fame. Garnet topped doublets were popular in the Victorian era & aren’t made anymore to the best of my knowledge. This likely came from a gemmology course study collection.
The sparkly Yin with the rusted Yang of a found object (rusted metal lip of pleasing shape) makes a thoughtful combo.
